We respectfully acknowledge that the nursery operates on the unceded land of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), the original stewards of this beautiful land that we are grateful to be living and gathering on. We respectfully acknowledge their long history and relationship with the plants that we grow, and that many of these plants have deep cultural significance and importance as food and medicine for Coast Salish peoples. We seek to honour their traditions and knowledge, and are committed to following their example of land stewardship. By growing native plants, we hope to contribute to healing land that has been damaged by the effects of colonization.
