

Cascade Penstemon (Penstemon serrulatus)
Cascade penstemon is a fantastic flower for pollinator gardens, enticing bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds with its gorgeous blue/purple flowers. The leaves can turn reddish later in the season, providing fall interest. While it prefers moist soils, it is drought tolerant once established. Easier to grow than other native penstemons, and can be grown in containers.
