Siberian miner's lettuce is a short-lived perennial featuring succulent bright green leaves and delicate, white to pink striped flowers. It is easy to grow, and self-seeds readily to create a lush groundcover in shady, moist areas. The fleshy leaves are edible raw, and can be added to salads. Try growing it in vegetable gardens, or in a perennial bed along with other shade-loving plants.
