Sticky cinquefoil is an often overlooked, but charming perennial that benefits native pollinators. It features upright, branched stems with sticky hairs, rising from clumps of attractively divided basal leaves, and topped with small, creamy yellow flowers. It is easy to grow, and is an excellent plant for pollinator gardens and wildflower meadows.

Soil & Moisture: Moist to seasonally dry, well-drained soils. Can handle sandy and gravelly soils. Drought tolerant once established.
Mature Size: Up to 2' tall

Wildlife Value: Attracts native bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Browsed by deer, elk, and small mammals.
Native Range & Habitat: Rocky slopes, disturbed sites, meadows, and open forests from low to high elevations. Native to western North America from British Columbia south to California, and east to the Rocky Mountains.
